Nicki’s Eggs

Nicki’s Eggs are farmed in the lower Kaimai Ranges near Katikati. The flock of free range hens are nestled in native bush where deer come to graze along side chickens and sheep. There are approximately 4000 hens and every morning the eggs are graded into size from the tiny first eggs- pullet size…to the super jumbos. These are hand packed daily and Nicki distributes them about town leaving Otto to oversee the animal husbandry. The hens who scratch about making dust baths not only produce eggs but the ultimate fertilizer which is available on request. 

Nicki and Otto can be found every Saturday morning at the Tauranga Farmers Market.
