DD’s Dutch Croquettes
Authentic Dutch beef Croquettes made by Deana. The inside filling of the delicate crumbed outside is a creamy beef. Moist and very tender, cooked on site at the Market. Served on their own or in a bun with ‘the works’ which includes salad and a dressing. Deana also cooks Bitter Ballen which is a round beef croquette, but in the size of a golf ball. Great for party platters. Both of these items are available frozen for you to take home and cook.

Attila brings to the Market the flavours of his home country Hungary. Handed down traditional family recipes of sausage making using free range pork. Dry cured and smoked, the sausage comes in different flavours such as Procini & Mushroom, Spicy Kolbasz, pepper and fennel and then a chilli hot range just to awaken your taste buds. The sausages comes in different sizes and hence varying prices. Samples are available to help you decide what suits your tastes.
Tucker’s Cornish Pasties
Made the traditional way, these Cornish Pasties are SO FRESH. Available in sweet flavours such as fruit pasties or in savoury flavours including bacon and egg. Gently heated at the Market so you can enjoy them with coffee or a refreshing Market drink.
We harvest macadamia nuts from over 940 macadamia trees, for much of the year, to ensure that you, our customers, receive the freshest and tastiest macadamia nuts available in New Zealand. We grow five varieties of macadamia nuts, all carefully selected for superior nutrition and flavour of the nuts. All nut varieties are GM free (and they’re gluten free too). Our macadamia nuts are only harvested when the tree decides they are mature enough to drop, then they are collected regularly and dried promptly. We do not chemically induce nut drop, (and yes we are serious about sustainability utilising waste heat to dry the nuts.) We have a wide and unique array of macadamia products, both sweet and spicy designed for all palates. In addition, our premium macadamia liqueur has been created with our customer in mind, to be consumed deliciously on its own, in cocktails, or with ice cream and desserts.

Chef Jimmy and Tracey serve up their fabulous traditional fried dumplings and pork buns. The dumplings and pork buns are made by hand by Tracey. Either cold to take home or ready to eat with a splash of Jimmy’s special chili sauce.

Most of the trees at Viridis Grove are the Italian varieties Frantoio and Leccino. Pendolino and Moraiolo complete the Italian mix. Some smaller areas are planted in Koroneiki and Picual for their peppery oil and Manzanilla for bottling. Bert also does infused olive oils in various flavours such as Basil, Chilli, Lime, Lemon. Table olives are also available. Bottles can be refilled at the Market.

Nana Dunn & Co
‘Nana Dunn & Co’ was created in 2019 by cousins Laura (granddaughter to Nana Dunn) & Heidi (Nana Dunn is Heidi’s Great Aunty Melba), who wanted to keep the Pickled Onion magic alive!
The Pickled Onion recipe dates back to 1935 and was used for many years by Nana Dunn who would distribute her wares to friends and family members. Keeping this alive Heidi and her husband Scott bring the range of onion pickles, jams and relishes to the market on a fortnightly attendance.
Dosa – a delicious light pancake made from Stoneground fermented lentil and rice. Available as a Vegan/Vegetarian Masala or with fillings of Chicken or Lamb Marsala. Cooked on the BBQ at the Market, this is a very visual experience to watch and smell as it is cooked. Additional fillings are also available.
