Our huge thanks go out to Peter Blakeway, Tauranga’s super star chef and Toi Ohomai Tourism & Hospitality tutor, who tantalized our taste buds with scallops supplied by our very own seafood suppliers at the Market – Smokey Seafoods. Added into our Casual Cooking demo were many market products including Pirongia Bacon (streaky), Microgreens from Abundant Backyard, Oyster Mushrooms from Maramas Mushrooms. Not forgetting those flavour hints of Chilli Jam from Milly’s Fine Foods and Good Bugs fermented vegetables.
