Chris and Jill from Mount Eliza Cheese are our local artisan cheese makers. Located in Katikati, Mount Eliza Cheese uses raw milk from a neighboring farm to make their signature range of cheeses – Farmhouse Cheddar, Red Leicester and Blue Monkey. Supporting other cheesemakers, Chris and Jill not only have their own specialty cheeses, but a feature cheese from a fellow cheesemaker in New Zealand. This feature cheese changes each week and always remains a surprise as to what it will be and from where in New Zealand it will come from.
